- Visual Communication Designer based in Scotland -

Hello, I'm Shannon and I like to consider myself as a creative type, graduating with a BA Honours in Communication Design where I'm finding my feet in the design world. I'm passionate about illustration, design, photography and surface pattern. When I was younger I would draw and colour but my enjoyment mainly came from jigsaw puzzles. I believe this shows in my creative approach today, a problem solver with a creative eye, ideas fitting together and in some sort of order to create a visual outcome.

I own an unnecessary collection of pretty patterned papers (which I will use one day in a personal project...maybe) and an ever growing wardrobe of patterned scarves, fit to go with any outfit. You will often find me wandering around galleries, scouting out 'cute stationery and gift shops' and scrolling Pinterest, designing my dream home. I enjoy a cold craft beer in my hand (cool labels anyone?) once in a while or relaxing with a cup of tea and a well designed magazine or book with lust-worthy photography on some delightful paper.

Growing up in Scotland I have been so fortunate to live in such a lovely part of the world, full of inspiring cities where you're never far away from beautiful walks and breathtaking scenery. This is something I enjoy exploring in my free time. It's while out and about walking (and I walk a lot!) where you will find me photographing the world go by.
